Lesly Farran

Leislies Farran is a linguist, translator, and educator with years of experience in multilingual teaching and cross-cultural communication. He wrote The World of Emily inspired by his students of Spanish and French, and by his childhood friend, biochemist Elena Moreno. As teens, Leislies was the linguist and Elena the scientist—they dreamed of uniting science and storytelling.

Originally from Cuba and now based in Canada, Farran is a passionate advocate for language learning and ecological awareness. His writing blends scientific curiosity with a humanist lens, and this debut novel marks the beginning of a powerful bilingual, cross-disciplinary literary journey.
